After graduating from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee with a
Bachelor of Arts in anthropology, Dr. Paykel graduated from the
University of Wisconsin Medical School, where she also completed her
residency in obstetrics and gynecology. Since then, she has served five
years in the United States Navy as an academic physician. After
completing her military service in Virginia, Dr. Paykel completed a
fellowship in Integrative Medicine at the Arizona Center for Integrative
Medicine under the direction of Dr. Andrew Weil.  She is currently in
private practice in Wisconsin.  Besides creating and developing
MaternaCare products, she participates in clinical research.  
Jacquelyn Marie Paykel, M.D.
Dr. Paykel has been making all-natural body
care products for a number of years in her
kitchen for family and friends. When her
patients discovered her interest, they
requested she provide them with natural
products they could use safely during
pregnancy. MaternaCare was born. Dr.
Jacquelyn Marie has used her personal
pregnancy experiences and the needs of her
patients to develop MaternaCare’s natural
skin comfort solutions.
