global causes.
The
Science behind MATERNACARE™
MaternaCare products are created using all-natural ingredients like unrefined
shea butter, cocoa butter, mango butter, sweet almond oil,
extra virgin olive oil, jojoba oil and calendula oil. Many
of these ingredients have traditional uses dating back hundreds
or even thousands of years. For instance, pure unrefined shea
butter from the Karite tree has been used for centuries in
western Africa as a skin moisturizer.
To verify their effectiveness, our ingredients have undergone limited clinical trials
using today’s rigorous scientific standards. It is our
goal to bring this contemporary scientific knowledge to you
when it is available; however, we believe the scientific data only echoes the time-honored
traditions found in cultures throughout the world of using these oils, butters and waxes for skin
moisturizing and healing.
